Hi Bucket Listers! We wanted to share some exciting news with you. Our team of aspiring journalists took home 10 honors, many of them first place awards, at the Colorado Press Association Convention. This in addition to the 14 awards we earned last year and the ones we won earlier this year in the Society for Professional Journalists regional competition. For the second year in a row, we also won the Excellence in Editorial prize. These are journalists in the earliest stages of their career, and they are crushing it thanks to the mentorship they receive at Bucket List Community News.

As our new team heads back to classes we are having our Back to School Fundraising campaign to support them and the work they do to cover stories that matter to you. But we need help to keep this going. Our goal is to raise over $5000 between now and August 31. Please contribute so we can continue sharing award winning free hyperlocal neighborly news with the Denver area.
Community journalism creates connection and conversation. Show our team you value their work too. Without more support it’s hard to see how Bucket List Community News can continue beyond the end of the year. Will you contribute today? Thank you for supporting community journalism.

Warmest Regards,
