☀️Good morning, Bucket Listers!
As a community-centered news organization, it’s our job to stay in the know about what’s happening around town. We’re not here to gatekeep this information; we love Denver, and we want our readers to make the most out of what makes the Mile High so special.
We’re constantly updating our events calendar with free and low-cost happenings you can enjoy with family, friends, or solo. This weekly roundup, which we’ll send to your inbox every Tuesday, will highlight some of our favorite picks for the week ahead.
Here are some ideas for how you can spend your free time around Denver this week.
🏳️🌈Pride Month is Here
June is Pride Month, a month dedicated to honoring and celebrating our LGBTQ+ friends, family, and neighbors. There is no shortage of things to do to celebrate Pride in Denver. Throughout June, we’ll provide weekly updates on the Pride events you don’t want to miss.

Drag Disco Bingo
📍 Five Points | Wednesday, 7–9 p.m.
Stop by Odell Brewing Five Points Brewhouse for a night of glitter, music, and fierce competition. Bring your friends and enjoy a fun-filled evening of bingo hosted by Talia Tucker. Reserve your free ticket here.
First Friday at Museo de Las Americas Pride Celebration
📍 Sante Fe Arts District | Friday, 5–9 p.m.
Museo de las Americas, a leading institution celebrating and preserving Latin American arts in the Rocky Mountain region, is hosting a free, public event on Friday in honor of Pride. Stop by the museum to view its current exhibitions, shop local vendors, have a snack or grab dinner from a food truck, and meet other art enthusiasts celebrating Pride.
Queer Pop Up Market
📍 Sloan’s Lake | Saturday, 12–3 p.m.
Visit Odell Brewing’s other Denver location on Saturday for a day of celebrating LGBTQ+ artists, makers, and small businesses. Come out, show your pride, and shop local at the Queer Pop-Up Market!
🪕Weekday Happenings
Seinfeld Trivia Night
📍 Englewood | Tuesday, 7 p.m.
Show off your Seinfeld knowledge on Tuesday night for a special trivia event hosted by Western Sky Bar and Taproom. Trivia is free, for all ages, and winning teams will earn prizes.
West Wash Park Neighborhood Association Meeting
📍 West Wash Park | Tuesday, 6:30–7:55 p.m.
If you’re a West Wash Park resident, this one is for you! Free and open to the public, join your neighbors at the Washington Street Community Center or over Zoom to discuss West Wash Park happenings. More information can be found here.
Denver has dozens of registered neighborhood organizations. If you want to become more involved in your neighborhood, get to know your neighbors, and make it the best place to live, consult this list to find your closest association. We’ll update this space weekly – your neighborhood might be convening next!
Levitt Free Series: The Brothers Comatose with Cousin Curtiss
📍 Ruby Hill | Thursday, 5–10 p.m.
Summer concerts at Levitt Pavilion have returned! Thursday’s show features The Brothers Comatose, a San Francisco-based, roots-infused bluegrass band known for their infectious blend of Americana, folk, and traditional bluegrass. Free tickets are limited, so be sure to grab yours here.

🎉A Weekend Full of Festivals
The forecast for this weekend is looking mostly sunny and warm, making the conditions ideal for the fun and (almost) free festivals happening around town. Don’t miss out on the following:
First Friday Art Walk
📍 Santa Fe Arts District | Friday, 5–10 p.m.
On the first Friday of every month, Santa Fe Dr. transforms itself into a free street fair. Lined with galleries, restaurants, and shops, the street at the heart of Denver’s arts district comes alive, with most of the action taking place between Town Hall Collaborative at 5th & Santa Fe to esp at 11th & Santa Fe. I’m personally a fan of the mini festival that esp throws in the summer months in the parking lot next to the bar, complete with DJs, food, records, art, thrifted wares, and more.
First Friday festivities also take place in RiNO and on Tennyson Street.
Denver Greek Festival
📍 Hilltop | Friday–Saturday, 11 a.m.–11 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m.–6 p.m.
Back for its 58th year, the Denver Greek Festival is one of our city’s largest cultural events. Held at the Greek Orthodox Metropolis Cathedral of Denver, the festival features live dancing and entertainment, authentic Greek cuisine, and boutique shops and vendors. Children 12 and under enter for free, seniors for $3, and general admission tickets are $5. Grab yours here. Opa!
Denver Chalk Art Festival
📍 Golden Triangle | Saturday & Sunday, 10 a.m.–8 p.m.
Denver’s most colorful free event is back! The Chalk Art Festival features more than 200 professional and amateur artists who will spend hours bringing chalk creations to life over the course of two days. See it for yourself on Bannock Street between 11th & 13th avenues.
🗓️ Coming Up Soon
Denver Community Film Fest Night: Join or Die Community Screening
📍 Highlands | Thursday, June 12, 5:30–8:30 p.m.
Mark your calendars for Thursday, June 12! Bucket List is excited to be a media partner for a free screening of Join or Die, a powerful and timely documentary that dives into the decline of civic engagement and the crucial role that groups like neighborhood organizations play in bringing people together and making change happen.
