KJ Mayo is a journalism major with a minor in business at the Metropolitan State University of Denver. Born in Illinois, she moved to Colorado when she was three years old. As an aspiring journalist, she has a passion for writing, both professionally and as a hobby; she also loves reading, drawing, and sculpting. KJ also enjoys skiing—when the busy winter season allows!
