Hello, Bucket Listers. Many of us awoke on Wednesday morning feeling even more distressed and anxious than we had the night before. Institutions we care about could change dramatically, our neighbors could be targeted and the legacy media, on which many rely, is losing trust and influence. That is why the work we do to bring you hyperlocal neighborly news is so important. Now is the time to invest in journalism that unites rather than divides us and includes all voices so that everyone can see themselves in the news. Will you support us today?
On another note, I cannot express how proud we are of our Bucket List Community News team and the young journalists from Metropolitan State University with whom we worked throughout the campaign. These aspiring journalists are the future, and they shine brightly. This was a one-of-a-kind collaboration between MSU, Student News Live, Associated Press, the Voter Voices initiative and Bucket List. Thank you to everyone who supported us, watched us and contributed to us. Because of you, we were able to punch above our weight.
