Taking Stock: An original work by Cliff Garten owned and commissioned by the City and County of Denver

Celebrate Denver’s newest public art commission, Taking Stock, at a special community gathering during the National Western Stock Show. This free event takes place at the renovated Main Campus Plaza at the National Western Center and invites the public to engage with the newly installed work by artist Cliff Garten. Commissioned by Denver Arts and Venues, Taking Stock reflects on the mythology of the American West while thoughtfully questioning whose stories are centered within it.
