Colorado Day Community Fest 2026

Commemorate Colorado’s 150th birthday at Colorado Day Community Fest 2026 on Saturday, August 1, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the History Colorado Center in Denver’s Golden Triangle Creative District!

This free, family-friendly celebration features a community pancake breakfast, live music—including a special John Denver tribute led by Isaac Slade, formerly of The Fray, alongside local Colorado musicians—and the opportunity to connect with community and cultural partners from across the state. Guests can enjoy interactive activities, face painting, gold panning, archaeology demonstrations, the grand opening of the Shared History community mural, the book launch of Setting Colorado’s Table: 150 Years of Agricultural Legacy, and free admission to the History Colorado Center.
