Nominate a neighbor graphic

Hi Bucket Listers. We hope you had a good 4th of July weekend.  We’re taking a break from our Bucket List on the Street series today so our team can enjoy the holiday.  It will be back next Sunday with more answers to our question of the week from people around the Denver metro.  We’re excited that this feature is generating conversations.

In case you have missed what we’ve published so far, here is the work we did leading up to the primary election on June 30.  For four weeks, we fanned out across Denver and Boulder asking neighbors what they want to see changed, why they vote, the qualities they expect in their governor and the issues that matter.

Do you have ideas for our Bucket List on the Street series.  Is there a question you think we should ask?  How about a topic we should explore?  Bucket List Community News is inspired by listening to what matters to our community.  We want to make sure everyone feels seen and heard.

To go along with that, we have a special way you can recognize someone in the community and make them feel appreciated.  Our Nominate a Neighbor initiative gives you an opportunity to tell us about someone who is kind, helpful and goes the extra mile to make sure our neighborhoods are better places to live.

The neighbor you nominate will receive up to four tickets to the Mile Long Table being held at the National Western Center on August 1 at 5 p.m.  Your nominee and their guests will sit at Bucket List’s table, get free dinners and a chance to connect to others in a fun and epic community gathering to celebrate Colorado’s 150th anniversary.

Finally, Bucket Listers, we will be fundraising again during our Back-to-School campaign from August 14 to August 31.  With that said, you don’t have to wait until then to give to community journalism.  Any day is a good day to support Bucket List Community News with a one-time or recurring monthly contribution. We are so grateful for your help making us sustainable.  Enjoy the rest of your holiday weekend.
