Construction Still Disrupting 16th Street Mall

Since construction on 16th Street Mall began in April 2022, businesses have seen a decrease in foot traffic and revenue. Even though some progress has been made and some parts have been reopened, many pedestrians continue to avoid the area due to “the dust and noise” caused by the construction project’s unfinished areas. Daniel Montoya went to the completed and unfinished sections of the mall to speak with businesses and citizens about the situation.
