Thank you so much for all you do to support community journalism and inspire our team at Bucket List Community News. Because of you, we have seen tremendous growth and mentored dozens of aspiring community journalists from CU Boulder, MSU Denver and DU.
To continue serving Denver and the surrounding area we need multiple revenue streams. We get by on grants, your generosity during two rounds of community fundraising in July and December, local small business sponsorships, and recurring monthly contributions. These recurring monthly contributions make up our Partner program and partners get perks!
Recurring monthly contributions go a long way toward ensuring our sustainability and showing commitment over the long term to community journalism. Many of you have already supported us with your one-time contributions, and we would like you to consider making your gift monthly. A $5 contribution monthly is $60 a year. $10 is $120. $20 is $240. You get it.
Bucket List Community Café is completely community-supported. There are no paywalls, advertisements, memberships, or paid subscriptions. From the beginning, we have been committed to making community journalism free to everyone. There have been some who told us this wouldn’t work, but together we have shown it does. We are innovating together.
London Lyle, our engagement manager, has been curating perks for those of you who might consider going this route.
