SUMMARY:Revealed: John Fielder’s Favorite Place
DESCRIPTION:John Fielder has captured breathtaking vistas\, documented the changing environment\, and created the definitive visual record of nearly every square mile of Colorado. But one location stands above the rest of the 104\,000 square miles he visited during his 50 years as a nature photographer. Curated in collaboration with John himself\, History Colorado’s exhibition REVEALED: John Fielder’s Favorite Place takes you to a location that few have ever experienced\, a location John feels is the most sublime in all of the Centennial State. \nJourney alongside John as he guides you from peak to peak\, pinnacle to spire\, and creek to creek. You’ll follow him across glacial cirques and over 13\,000-foot passes where the high alpine lakes reflect riotous wildflowers and spectacular sunrises\, encountering the stunning scenery through his iconic large-format prints. You will also be taken behind the lens to explore John’s personal reflections and well-worn equipment that reveal how he survived nature’s disregard for a photographer’s comfort\, embraced the incredible solace to be found in spaces of complete vulnerability\, and captured the magic of the moment. \nAfter this expedition with John\, you will leave inspired to discover your own favorite place in Colorado—and to ensure that these special places remain pristine for generations to come. \n\n\n	Related
